Auburn University’s Adopt-A-Spot program is looking for individuals and groups to adopt spots on campus and maintain those locations through litter collection and recycling. The goal of Adopt-A-Spot is to preserve the “loveliest village on the plains” and promote sustainability through a community effort. Any group in the campus community including students, faculty or staff, may sign up. In addition, any member of the campus community can register for a spot on their own. Spots are allotted on a first come, first serve basis. Each spot can be adopted by one group and up to 10 individuals. More information is available online. Questions can be directed to
