Colleagues who would like to investigate teaching in engaged, active student learning, or EASL, classrooms are invited to participate in a three-hour workshop targeted at instructors new to active learning. The workshop will be held on Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. until noon in Science Center Classroom 118. A pre-workshop reading is posted on the event registration website.

The session will discuss several different active strategies for exploring ways to maximize learning in several different contexts, including current EASL spaces, existing learning spaces and the upcoming state-of the art facilities in Auburn’s new classroom buildings. Lunch and childcare (for up to 12 children, pre-school age and older) will be provided. Register before the end of the day Monday, Oct. 12.
