The 2016 Outreach Scholarship Symposium, hosted in partnership with the Tuskegee Auburn Women’s Leadership Alliance, will begin the evening of Feb. 15, and continue on Feb. 16 and 17 at The Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center.

Proposals are being sought for 15 minute paper presentations or 30 minute poster presentations in one of two tracks: “The Scholarship of Engagement,” or, “Voices from the Margins.” Proposals for papers and posters will be accepted from faculty, students, community professionals, collaborative teams and partnering scholars.

Proposals for the 2016 symposium must be submitted via e-form by Nov. 19. All accepted presenters must register for the symposium by Jan. 15. There is no cost to register for the symposium. Student presenters must name a faculty sponsor on the proposal e-form. For additional information and to submit a proposal, visit the event website.

The keynote event of the symposium is the Extraordinary Women Lecture featuring Mae Jemison on Feb. 17, at 4 p.m. at The Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center. More information about Jemison is available online.
