The Auburn Kappa Kappa Gammas, the Auburn Equestrian Team, Impact volunteers and College of Education ambassadors will assist with the eighth annual Jean Dean Reading is Fundamental "Run to Read" on Oct. 24 at Floral Park in Opelika. A group from the Auburn School of Nursing will be at the event to conduct blood pressure and other health screenings.

Registration is available online until Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m., at Big Dog Running on Oct. 23 or at the event beginning at 7 a.m. Both runs start at 8:15 a.m. and the 1.5 mile walk starts at 8:20 a.m. Children's activities will be also be hosted. Attendees who have registered online by Oct. 20 receive a discount and are guaranteed a t-shirt. All runners and walkers will receive a gift bag and will be entered to win door prizes, including a week's vacation.
