The subject of this week's Take 5 on the Auburn University homepage is Jennifer Robinson, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts. Robinson is a professor who can almost read your mind - she can read your brain activity after you've gone through the fMRI machine. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Robinson said she has always been fascinated by the brain/body connection and began looking more closely at neuroscience while pursing a doctoral degree. She studies all matters of the brain at Auburn, and in addition to her position with Psychology, she works with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as the School of Kinesiology. Robinson will present one of the Auburn Talks during the "This is Research: Faculty Symposium" on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. [Read more]
