The Multicultural Center and Auburn Latino Association for Students, or ALAS, invite you to join them on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom to hear featured guest speaker Alina Fernandez. In her talk, Fernandez, the daughter of Fidel Castro, will share her first-person, intimate account of growing up in Cuba. She is a witness with a unique vision, not only of her father and how the country changed after The Revolution, but of Cuba’s future, and the potential for reform and a better life in Cuba. The event will also feature a performance of Brazilian Axé, a style of Samba. Light refreshments will be served.
