A free program about the History of Aubie, Auburn University’s award-winning mascot, will be hosted by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, or OLLI at Auburn, on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Clarion Inn and Suites, 1577 S. College St. in Auburn.

Debbie Shaw, class of ’84, and Ford Laumer, also an Auburn University alumnus, who were closely involved with Aubie during their careers at Auburn, will present the program.
Brown Bag lunches are only one part of OLLI at Auburn’s programming. Each year OLLI members participate in classes covering a wide range of subjects from art to yoga. OLLI at Auburn offers academic, not-for-credit programs for adults, ages 50 years or older. OLLI at Auburn is a program of the Office of the Vice President for University Outreach at Auburn University.
