Healthy Tigers, Campus Dining and the Nutrition Team from Campus Recreation and Wellness will host a Lunch and Learn session on Thursday, July 30.

The session will include a demonstration and talk about the new Campus Dining concept - Fit Station - Whole+Sum approach. Diners can choose a bowl for 350 calories or less or a plate for 600 calories or less.

Attendees will also hear how to divide a 40-minute workout into eight five-minute DESK-ercise sessions that can be done in the comfort of your own office. You'll learn exercises to give you strength and add flexibility. Desk-ercises will give you energy both physically and mentally. Come hear how Campus Recreation is helping Auburn University employees improve their health through Exercise is Medicine with video links to break up your work day and provide opportunities to move while you work. This presentation will be informational and active, so come ready to move.

This Lunch and Learn session will be held at the Village Dining Hall, Tiger Zone Room, from noon to 1:15 p.m. The cost will be $5 plus tax payable at the register the day of the event. RSVP is required at RSVP deadline is Friday, July 24.
