Free behavior analysis workshops will be offered by M.S. graduate students in Applied Behavior Analysis on Tuesday, July 28, in 235 Cary Hall. Register for the workshop by emailing Sacha Pence at at least 24 hours in advance.

8:30 to 10:30 a.m.: Why is He Doing That? Functional Analyses as the Starting Point for Intervention by Katherine Donahoe. This workshop will provide an introduction to the rationale and use of functional analysis as assessments to identify why an individual is engaging in problem behavior.

10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: From Showers to Shoelaces: Teaching Self-Care Skills by Madi Harris. This workshop will provide an introduction to self-care skills and will review how to teach self-care skills, with a focus on chaining procedures.

1:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Sleep Problems in Children by Laura Lynn Schneller. This workshop will review some common sleep problems with children and provide instructions for how to implement the treatments to help address sleep problems.
