The Kreher Preserve and Nature Center will host its third program in the series, Science on Saturdays, on Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m. This educational program will discuss the importance of honey bees to our ecosystems and food production as well as the impacts we are facing due to the honey bee's decline. Attendees will hike to the preserve hives to watch beekeepers at work. Admission is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. Pre-registration is not required. The center is located at 2222 N. College St., Auburn, just north of the Auburn University Fisheries complex. Email or call (334) 844-8091 for more information. The event will be canceled if it is raining.
