Notice body

Free guided tours of the Auburn University Medicinal Plant Collection will be held Wednesday, May 20, and Thursday, May 21, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and both are open to the public. The garden is located off Woodfield Drive across from the Plant Science Research Center. Guided tours typically are offered only the third Thursday of each month from April through October, but a record turnout at the April tour prompted garden curator Tia Gonzalez to schedule two this month. A few plants will be available for sale during the tours, and any donations to help fund the plant collection will be welcome. Learn more about the garden on the Auburn University medicinal plant garden Facebook page or email Gonzalez at aumedicinalplantgarden@gmail.com. The plant collection is a project of the Department of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences. Special tours for groups of six or more can also be arranged.
