Limited space is still available for rising fifth- through eighth-grade students in the College of Sciences and Mathematics’ summer enrichment academy, “Science Matters.” The program offers rising first- through eighth-grade students a cross-curricular, age-appropriate science experience and allows participants to explore the world of science through experiments, technology, art projects, electronic journaling and hands-on, make-’n-take activities. During the action-packed program, children can participate in courses such as “Catch Phrase,” “Snakes and Lizards and Insects oh my!” “Off the Grid,” and many more. Camp hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Prices range from $180 to $230 per week, per child. Multiple-week discounts are available. Information and registration forms can be found at this website.
