This year's Kreher Preserve and Nature Center, or KPNC, summer ecology camp theme is “Flying High! Birds fly! Bats fly! Dragonflies fly!” Campers will learn all about the amazing flights of our friends in nature and of man’s venture to fly as well. Camps feature nature studies, crafts, games, hikes and other activities. They are held Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon for children in upcoming grades first through seventh. Registration is $100 and includes a daily snack, activities and a camp t-shirt. KPNC membership at the Magnolia level, which is $35 or above, is required for registration. Online registration begins April 1 at 8 a.m. All camps are held at the KPNC, located at 2222 N. College St., Auburn, just north of the AU Fisheries complex. Go to this website for more information.
