The Biggio Center is hosting a professional development seminar on “Museum as Interdisciplinary Academic Catalyst: Engaged Learning at Auburn University’s Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art” March 13, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in 246 Foy; no registration is necessary.

The seminar will provide an interactive session on incorporating active learning in classes. Participants will learn how colleagues across the disciplines can build rigorous assignments around the museum’s permanent collections, exhibitions and programs. Participants will also receive a preview of the upcoming year’s exhibitions.
