The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture spring 2015 lecture series continues with a lecture by Brian MacKay-Lyons, partner and founder of MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects in Halifax, Nova Scotia. MacKay-Lyons, who is also a professor at Dalhousie University, has received national and international recognition for his small scale projects that are based on methodical exploration of the Nova Scotia vernacular. His lecture, "Craft Place and Community," will be at 3:30 p.m. in B6 Dudley Commons and is free and open to the public. The APLA lecture series is supported by practicing architects, planners and landscape architects in the State of Alabama.
