Notice body

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering will host Baja SAE Auburn 2015, a student design and motor sports competition, from April 9-12 at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) Pavement Test Track facility in Opelika. More than 100 teams from around the world will compete in this prestigious event.

We invite you to join the festivities and help make this experience fun, safe and educational for everyone. Your participation is vital to this event. To execute a motor sports competition for 100 teams and upwards of 1,000 college students requires more than 200 volunteers.

Event planners need volunteers who want to help or have experience with:
* Automotive design
* Off-road design
* Engineering design
* Motorsports operations

Event training, food and drink, competition information and a Baja SAE Auburn 2015 collared shirt will be provided to all volunteers. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm!

Sign up today at this website.

Auburn’s team will vie for top awards during the four-day competition. The event kicks off Thursday and Friday with two days of design and technical inspections, followed by racing action on Saturday and the challenging four-hour endurance race on Sunday.
