The Biggio Center will hold a Professional Development Seminar on Universal Design on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m., in Foy 246. This seminar will examine "What is Universal Design for Learning?" It is a set of principles for curriculum development that gives all individuals an equal opportunities to learn. UDL provides a blueprint for creating instructional goals, methods, materials and assessments that work for everyone–not a single, one-size-fits-all solution, but rather flexible approaches that can be customized and adjusted for individual needs.
