Join the Women's Studies Program in the College of Liberal Arts as they celebrate their eighth annual Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, March 4, at 11:45 a.m., in the Student Center Ballroom. This year's luncheon will include the lecture, “Brilliance Remastered: Activating the archive in your hands,” by Alexis Pauline Gumbs.

Gumbs will also conduct a free workshop on Tuesday, March 3, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., in 310 Tichenor titled, “Rigorous Loving: Sustainable Practices for Building Intellectual Community in Your Own Backyard.”

Gumbs’ visit is co-sponsored by the Africana Studies Program, the Multicultural Center and the Women’s Leadership Institute.
