On Thursday and Friday, Feb. 26 and 27, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics will host the 2015 Math Education Colloquium featuring Roger Howe from Yale University. Howe will present two lectures. The first will take place on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m., in 2456 Haley and is titled, “Standards-based teacher preparation.” The second lecture will take place on Friday, Feb. 27, at 4 p.m., in 249 Parker and is titled, “Four stages of classical invariant theory.” The public is invited to attend both lectures.
