The 25th Alabama Transition Conference, hosted by the Auburn Transition Leadership Institute (ATLI), will be held March 2- 4 at The Marriot at Grand National in Opelika. Transition is an area of study and service focusing on preparing youth with disabilities for their young adult roles. This year’s conference features Auburn as we highlight “Transition – Soaring to New Heights” in recognition of the city’s and university’s support of transition students developing and growing through various challenges. The keynote speaker for this year’s conference is Jonathan Mooney, a national renowned author and disability advocate. Mooney will talk about disability rights and inclusive educational movements.
