The Miller Writing Center (MWC) opens for the semester on Tuesday, Jan. 20. The MWC provides free writing support for undergraduate and graduate students in all majors. Trained consultants are available to help plan, draft and revise any kind of writing from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Monday through Thursday and from 4 to 9 p.m., on Sunday. The MWC’s main location is at the Ralph Brown Draughon Library, and we have other locations across campus, including at the Student Athlete Development Center, the Haley Learning Resources Center, the Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Building and the Multicultural Center. All locations are open to all students. Students may visit the Miller Writing Center website for location hours, directions and information about scheduling appointments. Faculty members may also request that a MWC representative visit their class to give a brief introduction to the writing center (click here to request a visit). Questions may be directed to or (334) 844-7476.
