The Discover Auburn lecture series begins its spring 2015 lectures with a book talk by Matthew Hoch, DMA, assistant professor of voice at Auburn University. Titled, "Reconciling Musical Terminology in the 21st Century," the talk will be based on his book, “A Dictionary for the Modern Singer” (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014).

The program will take place at the Ralph Brown Draughon Library on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m., in the ground-floor auditorium. A reception and book signing will follow the program.

The lecture is open to the public and is sponsored by Auburn University Libraries and the Auburn University Department of Music.
