Notice body

Auburn University contracts with the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative to provide Responsible Conduct of Research training. Many of you have or will take the RCR training course either to fulfill sponsor requirements, such as USDA-NIFA or NSF, or to learn more about conducting your research as ethically as possible.

A new RCR training course will be rolled out by CITI on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Here is what you need to know:

• If you start the RCR basic course before Nov. 25, you need to finish and pass the entire course before Nov. 25. Otherwise, your prior work will be lost and you’ll have to start completely over with the new course.

• If you successfully completed a RCR course before Nov. 25, your records will stay in the CITI system.

If you have any questions about this change, please contact Bob Holm at rzh0021@auburn.edu, Leslie Farrington at llf0006@auburn.edu or Niki Johnson at johnsnl@auburn.edu. You can find details about AU’s Responsible Conduct of Research training implementation here.
