Universal Design for Learning is a set of principles for curriculum development that give all individuals an equal opportunity to learn. At the Biggio Center’s Professional Development Seminar on Monday, Nov. 10, Tina Gilbert of the Office of Accessibility will explain how UDL provides a blueprint for creating instructional goals, methods, materials and assessments that work for everyone. It is not a single, one-size-fits-all solution, but instead, features flexible approaches that can be customized and adjusted for individual needs. The seminar will be from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Foy room 246. Cookies and beverages will be provided. For questions, email or call (334)844-8560.
