Notice body

Auburn University is many things to many people. A place for learning, mentoring, bonding, cheering, volunteering, discovering, living and connecting; a place where our values support our mission of education, research and outreach. The Office of Communications and Marketing wants to tell this powerful story in a new book, THIS IS AUBURN. One of the book’s chapters will focus on the Auburn Family and Spirit with stories ranging from our beloved mascot Aubie to traditions to some of our most decorated athletes. We need your input to tell these stories.

Multi-generational Auburn Families
So many students that enroll at Auburn are upholding a longstanding family tradition. We want to hear from families who have alumni that span three or more generations.

Divided Families
Auburn has a number of rivalries in the SEC and across the nation. The conflict is generally tolerable, unless the fan of a rival school is a family member. When these teams match up on the gridiron, tensions rise and families are divided. Whether your brother went to Georgia or your son married an Alabama fan, we want to hear about the fun ribbing that you have had with these particular family members.

War Eagle Moments
The Caribbean, Greece, Spain, Hong Kong, New Mexico, Oregon and even on the Great Wall of China – just a few of the places members of the Auburn Family have heard “War Eagle!” Tell us when and where you have shared a War Eagle Moment.

We want to hear from anybody who has unique or special items from Auburn’s history or a collection of Auburn memorabilia.
