The Breeden Grant and how to get one is the topic of the Biggio Center’s next Professional Development Seminar on Monday, Oct. 13, at 12:15 p.m. in Foy Hall 246. The Daniel F. Breeden Endowed Grant Program supports teaching and learning projects that directly benefit the instructor, students, and AU’s overall teaching program. Approximately $30,000 is available each academic year for awards. Beginning this fall, the Teaching Effectiveness Committee and the Biggio Center has voted to move the Breeden Grant proposal submission and review process to the fall semester. The deadline for Breeden Grant Proposals is Nov. 3. More details are available at this website. Don Mulvaney, Teaching Effectiveness Committee Chair, will be joined by a panel of veteran proposal reviewers and recent grant awardees to answer questions and provide assistance on the process. Light refreshments will be provided. For questions, contact the Biggio Center at 334-844-8530 or biggio1@auburn.edu.
