Faculty members Steve Ditchkoff and Mark Smith of the School of Forestry and Wildlife’s Sciences have recently been featured in Scientific American for their work on wild pig control in the Southeast. In the article, Ditchkoff and Smith are cited as regional experts on this invasive species. Currently, Ditchkoff and Smith are collaborating with other scientists on the issue and are at the forefront of research into wild pig control, both in the United States and abroad.
