This past Valentine’s Day, the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Southeastern Raptor Center asked the question, “Whoo Loves You?,” and Auburn local Emily Sexton answered. The “Whoo Loves You?” event was an auction that gave the highest bidder the chance to name an owl who had been rescued and rehabilitated at the raptor center and also a private tour of the facility. Sexton posted the highest bid and recently got the chance to meet the owl she named Marley during a private tour given by raptor center staff. The money raised by the auction supports the raptor center's rehabilitation mission by supporting animal care and treatment. For more information about the Southeastern Raptor Center, visit this website.
