Fourteen artists will share their talents, passion for ceramics and connection to their home states during the inaugural "2014 Alabama and Neighbors Ceramics Exhibition" Sept. 13 through Nov. 2 at Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art. During the closing weekend, guests may purchase items on view and others pieces by the artists. Shoppers may get an exclusive chance to browse during a preview sale on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets for this event are $25, and orders may be placed online via Auburn University’s Marketplace. Guests may enjoy light hors d’ oeuvres while browsing and shopping for unique artwork in an array of prices and styles in the recently renovated Susan Phillips Gardens. Those who purchase their ticket by Wednesday, Oct. 29 qualify for a raffle to win a credit towards purchase. The public sale is Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular admission is free courtesy of JCSM Business Partners. For more visit the museum's website
