An open house of the SCC EASL classroom will be held Friday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. in room 118 of the Sciences Center Classroom Building. EASL stands for Engaged and Active Student Learning, and these classrooms give faculty and students a learning environment conducive to active and collaborative learning. Visitors can meet faculty who teach in the room, explore the space and its possibilities and join Auburn University’s faculty community interested in more engaged and active learning. There will be 10-minute teaching demonstrations at 2:30, 3 and 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
