Wayne Willis will deliver a free public lecture titled “Energetic Control of Mitochondrial Fuel Selection: Clues from avian vs. mammalian comparisons.” The lecture will be held on Monday, Sept. 29, from 2 to 3 p.m. in 112 Rouse Life Science Building. The visit will be hosted by the College of Education’s School of Kinesiology with support from Auburn University’s Special Lectures Committee. Willis is an associate professor in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University. His research interests include mitochondrial bioenergetics of skeletal muscle, heart and liver; and fuel selection during vertebrate locomotion. Click here for additional information.
