The College of Liberal Arts’ Community and Civic Engagement Initiative is presenting the 2014 Italian Film Festival in celebration of National Italian American Heritage Month and Arts and Humanities Month. The first film, "Zoran, il mio nipote scemo,"or "Zoran, My Nephew the Idiot,” directed by Matteo Oleotto, will be on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. with an opening reception at 1 p.m. All films will be shown at 2 p.m. in the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art auditorium, are free and open to the public and will be shown with English subtitles. Refreshments will be provided prior to the opening and closing features of the festival in the museum’s Carlisle Lobby. The closing feature will also include an exhibition scavenger hunt.
