The Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve and Nature Center will offer Nature Walks the second Thursday of each month from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Nature Walks are for adults and offer opportunities for socialization and learning, while enjoying fresh air and exercise. Each month the walks will focus on different topics. October's topic is Pond Life, November's topic is Foliage and December's topic is Warm for the Winter. Hikes are free to the public, but donations are welcomed. No pre-registration is required. Tours begin at the nature center pavilion and will be canceled in the event of rain.
