Andrew Klein, associate professor in the Department of Geography at Texas A&M University, will give a talk on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 3:30 p.m. in 2182 Haley Center as part of the fall 2014 colloquium series presented by the Department of Geology and Geography in the College of Sciences and Mathematics. Klein’s talk, “The Footprint of Human Impacts in Cold Climates: Lessons Learned at McMurdo and Palmer Stations, Antarctica,” will discuss past monitoring of the stations and what future changes can be made to make them more effective and cost efficient.
