Human Resource Development will offer a course on University Student Employee Services. University operations which employ or would like to employ students, will learn the distinction between “Work Study” and “Student” employees; the processes, policies and steps to go through to hire a student employee; the organization behind the processes and policies; and the guidelines for successfully interviewing, hiring, employing and supervising such employees. The course is a two-hour program hosted by the Student Employment Coordinator. Managers, supervisors and employees who hire, interview or supervise student employees should attend. Register for this course, number 5060, through the Employee Services Banner tab under Professional Development.
