Notice body

Do you know what to do if there’s a fire in your classroom, dorm, apartment or house, etc.? Risk Management and Safety reminds everyone to have an EXIT strategy and know two ways out of every room and building. Any exit can become blocked during an emergency, so having at least one exit and two or more alternative exits can save your life. When the smoke alarm or fire alarm sounds, get out of the building quickly and stay out. Click here to view a PSA about fire response from the University of Maryland’s Department of Fire Protection Engineering and see what other college students had to say when asked this same question.
