Bratcher, who joined the Auburn faculty in 2008, has earned recognition regionally, nationally and beyond for her research, teaching and outreach programs in meat science and food safety. Since coming to Auburn, she has been awarded $6.7 million in grants. Armstrong earned his B.S. in animal sciences in 2002 and his doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 2010. He currently is a third-year resident at the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Vaughan Large Animal Teaching Hospital. Vance Agribusiness states the 40 honorees were selected for their leadership and commitment in advancing the cause to double food production by 2050.
