Ag Roundup 2014 is set for homecoming Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Auburn University’s Ag Heritage Park. Now in its 35th year, Ag Roundup is a super-sized tailgate party that features an abundance of foods and food products grown and/or processed in Alabama. Admission to the event is $5, payable at the gate, and children 6 and under are admitted free. Bruce Pearl, Auburn’s new head basketball coach, will be among the hundreds attending Ag Roundup and is scheduled to welcome the crowd at 11 a.m. at the Alabama Farmers Pavilion, located at 620-A S. Donahue Drive, near the entrance to Ag Heritage Park and Roundup. In addition to food, Ag Roundup will offer children’s activities, informative displays and live and silent auctions that raise money for College of Agriculture scholarships.
