Applications are open for the Sustainability in Northern Climates (INTL 3930) study abroad program in Québec City, Canada, March 5-12, 2022. The program will require students to meet on campus for class during the spring semester and over spring break in Québec City. Applications are due by Nov. 21.

The course will introduce students to sustainability in northern climates through cultural activities, food, sports and more. In addition, students will be able to explore Québec City, a francophone city, to get a taste of Europe right here in North America.

Activities will include, but are not limited to: city tours, culture tours, a hockey game, cross-country skiing and even dog-sledding! This program is perfect for students who have never experienced springtime in a colder climate, those who want to experience how climate changes culture, or for anyone looking for a spring break that is exciting and against the grain of traditional spring break experiences in the United States.

For more information on the course, visit the online brochure page.

The program and courses will be taught by the Assistant Provost of International Programs, Andrew Gillespie.
