Auburn University students interested in exploring career opportunities outside of the United States should apply for the 2021-2022 Auburn International Mentoring, or AIM, Program with the Office of International Programs. The AIM Program pairs select, motivated students with successful alumni living abroad for a meaningful one academic year mentorship. The program will allow you to explore the opportunities and realities of living and working abroad with expert advice from a fellow member of the Auburn Family.

Program applications, which can be found under the ‘Applications’ tab on the AIM website, are due by Sept. 17 to Kalani Long at kap0075@auburn.edu. Once applications are reviewed, students chosen to advance to the next stage of the selection process will be interviewed by the Office of International Programs. Then, in late September, students selected for the 2021-2022 AIM Program will be notified and paired with a mentor.

To qualify for the AIM Program, students must have a sophomore or higher standing—sophomore by year in school, not by number of credits—and be in good standing with the university.

To learn more about the benefits of AIM and to apply, visit the Office of International Programs’ website.
