The Office of Inclusion and Diversity, or OID, encourages Auburn faculty and staff to create new opportunities to explore, advance and understand topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion. To that end, OID has specifically designed the Inclusive Excellence Programming Grant to provide support for new, innovative and impactful approaches that advance diversity, equity, inclusion and related concepts.

Examples of programs that may be supported include lectures, symposia, workshops, conferences, performances, visit/preview days, DEI projects and other programmatic efforts. Typical funding will be approximately $2,000, and the Fall 2021 funding deadline is 11:59 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 24.

Spring 2022 requests will be accepted Nov. 22, 2021, through Jan. 15, 2022. Ideally, award decisions and notifications will be made within 15 business days of the deadline.

Grant information may be found here, and a comprehensive overview also can be found here.
