2021 University Senate officers election began this week

Each spring, the faculty at Auburn University elect the next representatives to serve the University Senate and the General Faculty leadership. The candidates for chair-elect and secretary-elect are listed below and their candidate statements can be found here.

The voting interface will be open from 12 a.m. on March 25 through 11:59 p.m. on March 29. The announcement for the elected candidates will be at the spring general faculty meeting on March 30, which begins at 3:30 p.m.

Candidates for senate chair:

Mark Carpenter (Professor of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science and Mathematics)

Robert Norton (Professor of Poultry Science, College of Agriculture)

Candidates for senate secretary: 

Lucretia Tripp (Associate Professor of Curriculum and Teaching, College of Education)

Luke Oeding (Associate Professor of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science and Mathematics)
