Auburn Cares hosting Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program information sessions

In an effort to assist students, Auburn Cares has partnered with the local Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, office to allow students the opportunity to meet one-on-one to discuss their financial situation and whether they qualify for SNAP. Beginning in April, Auburn Cares will host a SNAP representative the first Thursday of the month from 10 a.m.–11 a.m. via phone call. International students are not eligible for this federal program. If you are an international student with U.S. citizen children, your children may be eligible for SNAP benefits.

Those interested in meeting with a SNAP representative on April 1 should complete the form by Monday, March 29.
