Make-up date set for classes canceled due to severe weather

Following Wednesday's suspension of campus operations due to severe weather concerns, the Senate Calendar Committee has designated Saturday, March 27, 2021 as the official make-up date for those classes canceled from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17 and from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 18. 

Auburn’s Make-Up Day Policy provides opportunities to make up courses missed in the event of university closings, class cancellations and exam postponements due to inclement weather or emergencies. Faculty may decide whether or not to participate in the assigned make-up day and are the final arbitrator when determining attendance policies for their classes. You may decide that another option (such as restructuring scheduled class time, using remote options or meeting at a different time that is acceptable to the entire class) is more appropriate.
