Auburn University has again received additional doses of the Moderna vaccine against COVID-19 and is today notifying via email employees and students who are eligible to receive a dose from the latest batch. With the latest allotment, the university now has enough supply to fulfill the need of those who have been awaiting their second dose inoculation. Prioritization will first be given to those needing that second dose. Following that, the remaining supply of vaccine will be used to administer as many first doses as possible.

Since January, the university has been implementing a phased distribution of the vaccine on campus based on the receipt of allocations from the Alabama Department of Public Health. To view the latest with Auburn’s phased vaccine allocation plan, visit the university’s COVID-19 vaccine information webpage. Employees and students who have not yet submitted a form of interest for the vaccine and would like to be included in the university’s distribution plan can do so through this vaccination interest form.
