School of Kinesiology professor, student voted to board positions for Southeast chapter of American College of Sports Medicine

School of Kinesiology Associate Professor Danielle Wadsworth and graduate student Katie Spring were elected as board members for the Southeast-American College of Sports Medicine, or SEACSM. Wadsworth will serve as president-elect and Spring will serve as the student representative.

The American College of Sports Medicine, or ACSM, advances and integrates scientific research to provide educational and practical applications of exercise science and sports medicine. The Southeast Regional Chapter has a strong record of excellence in supporting the mission of ACSM and leads the way in program design, student development and membership involvement. The southeast chapter serves members in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
