Bo Bikes Bama, Bo Jackson's annual charity bike ride event, will be taking place virtually this year in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions. The newly named Bo Bikes Bama From Home event is scheduled for April 24, and riders are encouraged to choose a route and distance that works best for them.

All registered participants will receive 2021 Bo Bikes Bama T-shirt, a commemorative bib number and bike plate to be used during the ride, a Bo Bikes Bama wristband and a Bo Bikes Bama sticker. Riders are encouraged to register and pay the $50 fee by April 1 to receive their package in time for the April 24 ride.

This year's event marks the 10th anniversary of the fatal tornadoes that ripped through Alabama in 2011, leading Jackson to start the Bo Bikes Bama organization. The proceeds of the event will go toward the Alabama Governor's Emergency Relief Fund, which provides crucial disaster preparedness and emergency management resources for the state of Alabama.
