Education council recognizes Auburn University with dozen advancement awards

Auburn University was recognized with 12 awards – including two golds – at this year’s Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, District III virtual awards ceremony on Jan. 28.

Auburn Magazine – published quarterly by the Auburn Alumni Association – received a gold prize in the Periodicals & Magazines design category. The other gold came in the Writing, Series or Collection category for the Auburn Office of Development Communications and Marketing’s “Students of Auburn” series that appeared in the Auburn University Foundation 2019 Annual Report.

Auburn also received seven silvers and three bronzes in a variety of categories ranging from Diversity and Talent Management and Publications to Digital Communications and Advancement Services. Silver awards included the university’s Auburn Experts Take on Coronavirus micro-site created by the Office of Communications and Marketing, Auburn’s Honors College Case Statement and the Auburn Alumni Association’s fifth annual Black Alumni Weekend that ran from Sept. 27-29, 2019, in the Alumni Relations category.

In addition, Auburn received bronzes for its Forever AU Commencement Ad in the Individual Ads category, for the Winter 2019 and Fall 2020 Auburn Magazine editions in the Magazine category and for its Auburn Libraries Donor Postcard in the Advancement Services category.

The CASE District III award programs recognize the very best in advancement across the Southeast, and the district works to advance and support educational and professional institutions in the southeastern United States by enhancing the effectiveness of the alumni relations, fundraising, communications, marketing and other advancement professionals who serve them.
