Optional remote work, instruction extended through Feb. 7

Auburn University will resume full on-site campus operations on Monday, Feb. 8. This one-week extension will allow for (1) the additional review of COVID-19 policy changes recently announced by the Biden administration and (2) supervisors to transition all remote employees back to campus in alignment with safety protocols.

All optional remote instruction will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 7. Faculty with questions about classrooms should contact their department head/chair.

Staff working remotely should prepare to return to campus by Monday, Feb. 8.

All campus safety protocols remain in place. Students, faculty and staff are expected to comply with all university policies — including wearing face coverings indoors and outdoors and practicing physical distancing and proper hygiene — as well as restrictions on travel and event size. Review university policies and guidance.
