After consideration of current public health scenarios, Auburn will extend the current remote operations through Sunday, Jan. 31:

  • Faculty teaching face-to-face courses have the option to continue remote instruction through Jan. 31 if they choose. Faculty are not required to teach remotely and may continue to offer face-to-face courses.

  • Employees currently working remotely may continue to do so with approval from their supervisor through Jan. 31.

  • Students will be contacted by their faculty regarding any extensions to remote delivery.

  • Future updates to the university’s operations will be announced each Friday.

The campus community must continue to follow all A Healthier U safety protocols — including wearing face coverings, practicing physical distancing, washing hands frequently, and completing daily Healthchecks. These expectations also apply to those who have received the vaccine unless public health guidance around these precautions changes. Updated information regarding the university’s vaccination plans and sentinel testing will be shared as it is available.
